National Accolades for PDS Field Hockey Players

Princeton Day School field hockey players (seated from left to right) Gretchen Lindenfeldar ’18, Suma Kanuri ’17, Elizabeth Brennan ’18, and Eva Petschnigg ’18 were named to the 2017 Keith Waldman - Optimal Performance Associates/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School National Academic Squad. In addition, Ms. Brennan was honored as a Scholar of Distinction for a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher. 

 

Princeton – Princeton Day School is pleased to announce that star field hockey players Eva Petschnigg ’18 (Skillman), Suma Kanuri ’17 (Skillman), and Gretchen Lindenfeldar ’18 (Pennington) were named to the Keith Waldman - Optimal Performance Associates/National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) High School National Academic Squad. In addition, Elizabeth Brennan ’18 (Pennington) was named to the squad, and honored as a Scholar of Distinction for a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher. 

The National Academic Squad program recognizes those high school seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2016-17 school year. There were a total of 2,522 honorees on this year’s squad coming from 328 schools.

Seniors and juniors who have achieved a minimum cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0 or the equivalent through the first quarter of the 2016-17 school year have been recognized as Scholars of Distinction. A total of 714 students received the Scholars of Distinction designation.
