Dance Curator: Christine Colosimo (MA, CMA, BFA)

Christine is a dancer, choreographer, dance educator and arts administrator. She has collaborated with visual artists from around the world creating pieces that combine live dance with video dance, live music with electronic music and live dance with projected light painting and photography. Her work has been presented in both New York and New Jersey. Christine is a dance history professor at Rider University. She is founder and director of two New Jersey based dance collectives, Summer Dance Project series in Palmer Square and the IHWSH Dance Project. Christine is also a NJ state certified dance educator and brings special dance and movement projects to the Princeton Public Schools. These projects are interdisciplinary, using dance as the medium in meshing NJ core curriculum standards in all subject matters with creative arts and dance. Christine has been a Princeton resident for nineteen years and is proud to bring dance to her much loved community.
