Waldorf School of Princeton is pleased to announce its Summer Camp program, extending hours until 5:30 p.m. and adding unique themes to each session. Parents of children ages 4-13 may enroll online through the website, for up to three two-week sessions running June 26 through August 4.
All campers explore, create, and dream amidst 20 acres of fields, forests, gardens, and creek; common activities include water play, food preparation, painting, and cooperative games with their groups.
New for this year, each two-week session will celebrate a specific theme, with age-appropriate experiences for each of the camp's four groups: Tadpoles (ages 4-5), Crayfish (ages 6-7), Foxes (ages 8-9), and Hawks (ages 10-13).

(Coed Entering 3 - 8) Watershed Discovery, Woodland Adventures, Environmental Science, and Wilderness Survival are just a few of the themes to be covered in Nature and Survival Camp. Campers will discover the ecology of watersheds. They will explore these areas while learning about how humans can impact them and the importance of keeping them clean. Campers will take part in hands-on labs involving testing water quality, acid rain, and performing a week-long study of aquatic insect life. Campers will also discover the world of forests with daily themes of mammals, birds, amphibians, reptiles, and insects by searching for salamanders, mammal tracks, box turtles, and more. Campers will also learn about the Native Americans that lived in Central NJ and learn some of the survival skills they developed. Activities will range from building shelters to making fire without matches.
