Summer at Stuart offers a variety of day programs featuring academic >enrichment, arts, and athletics programs as well as a play camp program. >Before and after Camp activities are also available. Programs are open >to Stuart and non-Stuart students ranging from age 4 through high >school, depending on program. The StuArts coeducational arts program >offers campers entering grades 1 to 5 a one- or two, or three-week camp >experience combining visual and performing arts activities, as well as >dance and visual arts courses. Campers may attend sessions from June 15 >through July 2. The Performing Arts camp is held June 15 – 26. Campers >entering grades 6 to 9 will receive instruction in music, drama and >dance culminating in a camp production on June 26.

Princeton Day School’s 105-acre campus offers fantastic facilities including computer labs, art rooms, a ceramics studio, a photography lab, a wood shop, an architecture lab, science labs, a music suite that includes a computer lab, two kitchens, a 350-seat theater, three gyms, a synthetic playing field, numerous playing fields, tennis courts, fitness center and skating rink. Summer Programs’ goal is to provide children with a nurturing and stimulating environment which allows them to discover new interests, develop new talents and encourage exploration. Waldorf School of Princeton is pleased to announce its 2016 Summer Camp program, extending hours until 5:30 p.m. and adding unique themes to each session. Parents of children ages 4-13 may enroll online through the website, for up to three two-week sessions running June 27 through August 5. All campers explore, create, and dream amidst 20 acres of fields, forests, gardens, and creek; common activities include water play, food preparation, painting, and cooperative games with their groups. New for this year, each two-week session will celebrate a specific theme, with age-appropriate experiences for each of the camp's four groups: Tadpoles (ages 4-5), Crayfish (ages 6-7), Foxes (ages 8-9), and Hawks (ages 10-13).Open House March 19, 10-12pm.

3-D ART CAMP Coed Entering 3rd - 6th - Motion...Action... Study the art of Alexander Calder and create three dimensional artwork using clay, wood, paper, stone and wire. Campers will do hands-on art projects, building skills and using creative thinking. Projects will include making gargoyles, stabiles, mobiles, wire animals and sea creatures.

GO GREEK! ART CAMP Coed Entering 3rd - 6th - Discover what life was like thousands of years ago for children just like you in Greece. You'll make the kind of clothes they wore, write using their alphabet, make a hydria out of clay, learn about Greek mythology and celebrate a holiday in honor of the birthday of Athena with a festival called the Panathenaic Games.

SOMETHING CONSTRUCTIVE ART CAMP Coed Entering K- 2nd - Something Constructive engages children in making three-dimensional artwork. They will use wire, found objects, plaster, gauze, and paper mache to build masterpieces.

All camps are open to both new and experienced artists, and will take place in the beautiful, air-conditioned Center for the Arts. Camp fees include lunch daily in the dining hall. Artful Architecture: Design & Build/Tae Kwon Do - July 22-August 2 This hands-on session will engage student’s bodies, minds, and imaginations to explore how buildings and cities are designed and built. Field trips, and special guests during the session. We will learn about world-renowned architects as we visit the Princeton University campus to see the works of Frank Gehry, I.M.Pei and Michael Graves. They will design a floor plan of their “dream” room and create their own 3D artwork. Students will enjoy Tae Kwon Do instruction 3 times per week. (grades 1-5)

Art in Nature meets the Digital Age/Golf June 19-July 3 This session is a fusion of two very distinct art forms and how they interact and compliment each other. Children will take digital photographs of their natural creations and manipulate them in new and original ways to document their imaginative works. During the session,each child will create a digital book. Golf lesson 3x (grades 1-5)
