Learning a strategic foreign language is critical for our children in the 21st Century. But getting started can be a challenge. So the U.S Government has sponsored STARTALK : a unique opportunity this summer for your children to start learning Chinese. And it is FREE!
Organized by the YingHua International School (YHIS), this 3-week program is open to students who have had no experience or very limited experience learning Mandarin Chinese. YHIS teachers are very experienced teaching students in a way that is both effective and fun. The YHIS immersion method provides a foundation upon which your child can build their language skills in the future no matter what school they attend or if they learn Chinese after school or on weekends.
Located in Kingston, NJ, the YingHua International School has ten years experience developing dual language proficiency in students starting from pre-school through middle school.
Normally, this 3-week immersion program would cost approx. $ 1,0000.00. But the U.S government is investing to make this FREE to participants in order to encourage more citizens to learn strategic foreign languages. But spaces are very limited. Don't miss this very rare opportunity.
The YHIS STARTALK program runs:
June 26 to July 14, 2017 Monday to Friday from 9:00 - 3:30 pm
First qualifying round ends on April 10, 2017.
Eligibility: Rising 3rd to 8th grade students, US Citizen,
